THE INTERDISCIPLINARITY
For my big question I believe that the three subjects it focuses on is english, math and, of course art. The way english is involved is due to storytelling. Images and animation tend to be forged from storytelling. A picture can mean a hundred words and an animation is bent on telling a story through moving images.
The way math is involved is due to timing and also neatness. Sometimes you can overdo a drawing by adding too many details. 3 and overall odd numbers of details and things is considered the best route for one to take. As an example lets say you want to add butterflies in a drawing well it would be best if 3 or 5 were put into the picture since you can overdo it. Then with animation timing plays a major role in everything. You have to be able to time poses movements and words so that every picture when united together flows into the movie you wanted to show. Sometimes if you're of the images produced can come off looking choppy, stiff or unnatural, but it also depends on what you're trying to do because sometimes you do want it to look choppy.
