WE ARE LIVING IN THE BRAVE NEW WORLD
It's a bit shocking hearing someone from the past speak about the present, as if they had been able to glimpse what our society is facing. It really does feel like we're living in Aldous Huxley's book a brave new world.
Aldous Huxley told us about the things he thought humanity is bound to face with technology, overpopulation, and the harsh decisions government would have to make for society.
He foresaw that instead of people using TV for good things people were using it to grow more distracted and more distant from the real world. To which the government would be able to take advantage of. They could use this distraction to brainwash us with propaganda and get us to believe and do things that would give the government more power than it should have. Aldous Huxley saw this and it feels like its true because everywhere I look almost every person I see has their nose pointed toward a little light rectangle that has the capability of taking them away from reality and changing their very thoughts.
He saw overpopulation occuring and honestly who couldn't see this coming. Since we now live longer and have lots of things that combat major illnesses there is a lot more possibility for people to reproduce in excess. With more humans on boar animals don't have a chance with all our technologies which would mean they'd wind up extinct or holeed up in zoos to serve as our entertainment. though then with more people there are more mouths to feed and that  means we'll need more farms to exist to feed the ever growing population. Pretty soon there'll be no forest land but farmland which could gravely impact our atmosphere with lots of carbon dioxide since there wouldn't be or even is enough trees to combat the extra carbon dioxide we're producing from electricity, manufacturing, the meat industry, and the farming industry. There would have to be some form of extermination of a large mass of people in order to keep living in this earth without it dying while we're on it. This act would mean we would be in need of a powerful dictator since no one would approve of this in a democracy because o one wants to die me included. A dictator would have to lead because then people would have no choice to decide upon this matter.
Now back to A Brave New World with everyone stuck in their phones screaming brainwash me propaganda could easily take over the populous. Then due to our very distracted selves we are sure to begin suffering mentally which would mean the population would have to resort to medications to feel better which is what had happened in the Brave New World. I mean come on we voted in Trump as a president mostly due to media and it's propaganda along with terrible cultural education from families who still believe in old news.
It's clearly visible that if one had the motive they could easily go ahead and start their plan to control the world for the better of for the worse since our culture is suffering from great ignorance and mis education.
