I believe that Brian Marx has the same thoughts and feelings that are similar to we "normal people" so he might be the one the audience should be able to connect with for now.
It seems that people of this period dwell in the dramatic since Lenina went to speak to Brian in front of Henry Ford of their date in the males changing rooms. This left a lot of the men with gaping mouths. Of course Brian was left speechless. This of course unnerved him but also made him feel happy since she'd accepted his offer. We are then introduced to Helmholtz Watson who is another being with a similar head to that of Marx. In the book they are considered people with mental excess. This could mean that they were born with more intelligence than what was desired
