BNW CHAPTER 13
In this chapter it was mainly about Lenina trying to get into bed with John. She talked about it with Fanny and Fanny told her that worrying about it was ridiculous she should just go and tell John that she likes him. Lenina was nervous to which Fanny consulted that she should take soma an hour before hand. And that was what she did. She went to see John to which he had expected to see Helmholtz. Lenina was the one who showed up and she felt like John hadn't wanted to see her. Though John said he had a deep admiration for her it was the truth after all. Then John had went on about proving his worth to her and Lenina didn't understand. From what she was made to believe if you wanted to go to bed with someone you would without any requirements beforehand. SInce she was a bit desperate things started to escalate. John would tell her that she did like her but needed to prove his worth and they kept at it until Lenina misunderstood John and began to take her clothes off in front of John. John freaked out and became outraged. He he shoved her away and shouted whore at Lenina which frightened her very much and she ended up stuck in the rest room. She couldn't leave until John left from a phone call.
