John had felt despaired and from everyones ignorance he felt futher saddened. None comforted the other they were just twins just experinements. Alpha's were distributing soma and scolded the deltas when they were antsy. John them realiesed that Linda was a slave and died a slave and everyone here was a slave. A slave of soma, a slave of the capital. The soma was a poison that controled them all. John went up to the alpha and yelled stop. He yelled don't take the poison. Deltas were being riled up. They called Bernard and Helmholtz to tell them the savage has gone insane. John was frustrated that all the Delta's didn't want to give up their soma. The soma was normal and necesary for them since it gave them a feeling of freedom, but not true freedom. It controled them possibly unknowingly. John tossed their soma out the window because they didn't care they did not see what he was telling them. He wanted them to be free and see it whether they wanted to or not.They were angered and behun to attack John.
Policemen came and used some kind of soma gas along with a recording to ease the anger in the room and it worked. All the delta's left feeling lovey dovey after they were drugged instead of the raging beasts they were before.
